My name is Rebecca and I have a passion for undisturbed, physiological birth and supporting women's rights to make choices that support this, for themselves and their family.  

 

Every woman deserves to be nurtured and supported unconditionally through the sacred rite of passage that is childbirth.

 

I am passionate about providing the support, guidance and education that can open up the possibility to experience the power of gentle physiological birth.

Many women express the desire for a 'natural' or unmedicated birth, often they have a deep longing to trust their bodies and the processes of birth and to have that trust reflected back to them. And through my experience of my own births and supporting other women, I have realized it is not enough to simply desire it, write a birth plan, and then see what unfolds.

As such all my Doula services include extensive prenatal birth coaching sessions.  Birth coaching helps you and your partner prepare for the birth you
desire. It is part childbirth education and part life coaching. I help clients to clarify their desires, delve into their fears, explore their care provider options and learn how to prepare themselves physically, emotionally, and mentally for labor, birth and postpartum.
